Spicy is the 1st iPad schematics capture and simulation program using a hybrid SPICE / SWAN (Simulation by Wave Analysis, trademark of Piero Belforte) simulation engine, and is a revolution in circuit design. Spicy is fast, intuitive, and allows you to literally draw circuits with your fingers.

Powered by MULti-Processor Hybrid Environment (MULHE)

Spicy SWAN adds to Spicys simulation capability with a revolutionary Digital Wave Simulation (DWS, trademark of Piero Belforte & Giancarlo Guaschino) Engine developed in Italy, a simulator with a 30 year history of success in multiple applications. As known Spice performs a Nodal Analysis (NA) of the circuit to solve its node equations, while SWAN/DWS simply maps the circuit into its DSP wave equivalent and doesnt need to solve any implicit equations. This technique, called DWN (Digital Wave Network) is very fast, accurate and stable. NA used in Spice assumes no signal propagation, as can be verified for low-speed circuits or in case of "small" physical size, as usually happens inside Integrated Circuits. DWS, on the contrary, assumes that signal propagation and related effects are not negligible as happens when the propagation delays of signals within the circuit are comparable with their transition times. While Spice is more well suited for transistor and semiconductor device simulations, SWAN/DWS bring fast transmission line and high-speed digital simulation capabilities that complement spice perfectly.

This version brings Spicy up to speed with enhanced usability, performance, and new features.

Spicy now also has a WEB version that works within your BROWSER!! Sync your files from iPad to your PC or Mac, your schematics, anywhere, anytime! [Details on Spicy for Web at our homepage]

You can do your circuits homework, sketch your new product idea, and do real simulations for work. Spicy is the only app that does what it does, and it the standard in iPad circuit design.

Spicy offers an intuitive, familiar design environment that is portable. with advanced and unique features such as simulation profile setup and spice formatted netlist export, file save and import/export, and video help.

One of the most powerful features of Spicy is the Online Circuit Library and backup system. The library is a place where you can upload/download circuit schematics, and search for designs others have uploaded... a central repository for schematics and maybe your next big idea! If you dont want to share, there is a password protect option when uploadng so only you and your group can access them.

Spicy is for professionals, students, teachers, engineers, hobbyists, ... and anyone who has a need for a simple, flexible circuit design tool that they can take with them anywhere. Create, save, edit, share, export, simulate, and even send screenshots via email, Spicy is a must have for students and working engineers alike.
